Active Knowledge Modelling (AKM) is the practice of creating connected, evolvable models that remain useful as context for people, software, and AI.

Traditional models can become passive records: carefully produced, published, and then separated from daily work. An active model can be explored, challenged, connected to evidence, used in decisions, and revised as understanding develops.

The progression is:

Information -> Knowledge -> Models -> Context -> Human + AI work -> Results

Mimris uses this approach in an AKM Universe. `Universe.World` and the Workspace are where a World is created and evolved; export or generation produces an Operational Preview. Mimris Modelling creates and evolves the structure. Mimris AI Workspace uses that structure with documents, processes, tasks, decisions, and deliverables.

The Coffee Shop World makes the idea concrete: a familiar world is built in an AKM Universe, connecting people, products, systems, processes, information, views, and work instead of leaving them as disconnected fragments.
